David Alexander
Photoshare Manager
David Alexander is a professional photographer, with over 7 years of experience in managing, enhancing, and marketing online image collections. David Alexander came to Photoshare shortly after graduating with a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where he majored in photography. His skills include a command of traditional and digital photographic processes with an emphasis on digital imaging and related software. David has attended and conducted workshops and training sessions on digital imaging, Photoshop, and digital photography. After becoming a permanent Photoshare staff member in 2002, David took the lead in helping to launch the First Annual Photoshare Photo Contest and the Annual Development Photography Award. David is responsible for project oversight including marketing and promotion, screening and processing of in-coming requests, acqiusitions, scanning and retouching images, providing technical support to Photoshare users and photo contributors, and serving as in-house photographer.

Sean Stewart, with over 5 years of professional library experience in cataloging, thesaurus development, and collection management, serves as the project’s library coordinator, overseeing new acquisitions.
